AZVS proudly shares that its founder, Dr. P. Sureshkumar, was honored with an Appreciation Award by the JCI Yuva team. The award recognizes the impactful work of AZVS in the fields of disability support, education, and social empowerment. This recognition not only celebrates Mr. Sureshkumar's leadership but also highlights the dedication and hard work of the entire AZVS team in transforming lives and advocating for inclusive development.

On June 16, 2025, AZVS Chennai Branch conducted a focused one-on-one counselling and mobilization session led by Ms. Jothi. This initiative provided personalized career guidance and skill development support to 20 Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). Participants were also introduced to AZVS and its programs through a brief presentation.

On June 27, 2025, AZVS branches in Chennai and Hyderabad commemorated Helen Keller Day with cake-cutting ceremonies and motivational sessions. Students learned about Helen Keller's achievements despite her disabilities and were inspired to view their abilities as strengths.

On 8th May 2025, a team from AZVS visited the Association of People with Disability (APD) in Bangalore. The primary purpose was to explore potential collaboration and understand APD's well-structured project models to develop a Livelihood Skill Training initiative for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).
