About This Program

At Ashraya Zilla Vikalangula Samakya (AZVS), we believe that employment is not just about earning a salary — it is about dignity, independence, and social inclusion. For many Persons with Disabilities, the greatest challenge is not lack of ability, but lack of opportunity. AZVS bridges this gap through structured Wage Employment and Job Readiness Training programs designed to prepare PwDs for meaningful and sustainable careers.

Our training model combines technical skill development with intensive soft skills preparation. Participants receive job-oriented training aligned with market demand, along with communication skills, interview preparation, resume building, workplace etiquette, and confidence-building sessions through mock interviews and practical simulations.

Beyond classroom learning, AZVS focuses on holistic empowerment. Each participant undergoes individual assessment and career guidance to identify strengths, interests, and suitable employment pathways. The transformation from hesitation to self-belief is visible in every candidate.

AZVS works closely with inclusive employers, corporate partners, and placement networks. We facilitate employer sensitization, job matching, and post-placement follow-up to ensure long-term stability. Many trainees become the first earning members in their households — changing family narratives from limitation to possibility.
